Our board is as diverse as our management team, led by a majority of women and people of color. It stands apart from most U.S. nonprofit boards, which lag behind our country's changing demographics. Nearly 80% of all nonprofit board chairs and executive directors are non-Latinx white, according to the Urban Institute.
