Over the years, thousands of kids from all races and creeds have come through the Boys & Girls Club programs and moved on to become responsible, successful adults and community minded citizens. Many members have volunteered at the Club and served on the board of directors. The longevity of the Club is the result of hard work and dedication by our Board of Directors, Staff and adult associations such as the Remington Men’s Club, Remington Women’s Auxiliary, and most notably, our volunteers. Today, the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle serves approximately 2,500 members a year.

Keystone is BGCA’s premier teen leadership program. Founded in 1964, Keystoning meets teens’ vitally important needs for positive group experiences. With the guidance of Club staff, teens are given opportunities to make leadership decisions, serve others and engage in experiences that help to shape their knowledge of academic, career, community service and teen outreach initiatives and projects.

Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club Movement’s most dynamic teen program, and it provides youth with valuable leadership and service experiences. Teens conduct activities in three areas: academic success, career exploration and community service. This program is part of a multi-year teen initiative that provides Clubs with tools and resources to create a positive place for teens as well as youth.

The Youth of the Year Leadership Development Program builds teens’ leadership skills and abilities both in the Club and out of the Club. The program first guides youth through a series of activities to engage them in real-world leadership experiences, then fosters their leadership potential by encouraging them to reflect on, apply, practice and develop their leadership abilities at the Club, school, home and in the community. Through engaging, hands-on activities, participants explore essential topics such as: identity, passion, personal branding, voice, listening, teamwork, inclusion, mindset, goal setting, citizenship and purpose.

Drama Matters promotes a love of drama while increasing appreciation for this art form. Drama Matters builds self-confidence by inspiring creativity and improving academic achievement. Boys & Girls Clubs around the world have successfully implemented arts programming as part of their core offerings for members. Although visual arts, music and digital arts are common in Clubs, often times drama programming is overlooked in favor of other activities. Drama provides our members with unique experiences and benefits, as well as exposure to a variety of careers. We will also provide an outlet for students to produce their very own podcast in our brand new Podcast Studio at our Mascaro Clubhouse.

Donate $25 towards Snacks:

Everyday after school, many of our children request and deserve an opportunity to have a healthy snack that revitalizes their spirit to learn, achieve and accomplish the goals set forth by our staff.  Supporting our children in this way can make for a greater experience in their after-school experience.
